Central Plains Water Environment Management Fund (EMF) has supported Te Ara Kākāriki in preparing and planning and planting 525 native plants.

Impact.

Playing a part in a bigger picture of providing a stepping stone in a biodiversity corridor – areas of vegetation that provide shelter, food, and protection from predators. Birds, and Invertebrates that would otherwise be isolated in one native patch, can utilise Greendot patches to move between the Greendot patches with relative ease.
